Traci’s Service
- I have lived In Bluffdale for 15 years, and married for 26 years.
- My lifelong journey has been to uplift and inspire my family and my community. Growing up in a family with ten kids has taught me to embrace kindness, patience, hard work, and tolerance.
- I have worked hard to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Master’s Degree in Elementary Education in 2009. I am proud to have worked in the Jordan School District as a teacher and loved each opportunity I had to learn from and guide all those amazing children.
- I just finished serving 2 terms on the Bluffdale City Council. It was an immense honor and I am grateful for the trust the community placed in me to serve.
- I am a former Planning Commissioner and served as secretary on the Mayors’s Citizen Committee for Economic Development.
- I am currently employed as a top 500 Realtor – since 2011
- I enjoy many outdoor hobbies including mountain biking, boating, hiking, skiing, working in our vegetable garden and spending time with our horses.
- I want to lead with my conservative values guided by pragmatism and collaboration. I need to make sure District 5’s voice is heard
“I want strong, thriving communities for our kids and grandkids. I believe this is built on unity, collaboration, and shared responsibility. A healthy community begins with strong families and is strengthened when cities, counties, schools, and the state work together toward a common purpose. While we may not always agree on the approach, I believe in listening with respect, working together in good faith, and staying true to my morals, ethics, and core values. It is through unity, integrity, and mutual respect that communities truly thrive.” – Traci Crockett

Vision & Values
Let’s take care of the place we love.
We need to keep Salt Lake County efficient, safe and affordable for our neighbors at every stage of life.
My focus is on transparent, accountable county government that listens to residents. We need to make data-driven decisions balanced with compassion and common sense.

Traci Crockett on the Issues
Improve County Efficiencies
- I strongly oppose the County’s recent 14% tax increase. At a time when families are already struggling with rising costs for housing, food, and utilities, even a small tax hike can push household budgets past the breaking point.
- Every dollar the county spends should be accounted for and justified. County services work for residents and should be valuable, efficient and essential.
- Too many families in Salt Lake County are living paycheck to paycheck. Government should respect the hard work of residents by spending responsibly, prioritizing essential services, and finding efficiencies before asking families to pay more. I believe fiscal responsibility means protecting taxpayers while delivering effective, accountable local government.
Transportation & Infrastructure
- District 5 is the fastest-growing area in Salt Lake County, and our infrastructure must keep pace. Traci Crocket will work to ensure District 5 receives its fair share of transportation funding to improve east-to-west connectivity, reduce congestion, and shorten commute times for residents and families.
- We should work regionally with the Wasatch Front Regional Council and UDOT to ensure our area is getting its fair share of funding for our very high growth district.
Public Safety
- Public safety means more than policing—it means prevention, mental health support, and safe public spaces through affordable policies
- Support well-trained, accountable police, alongside crisis response teams and social services
- Invest in youth programs, county parks, recreation centers and trails to stay active and connect in safe environments.
